Amrut Spectrum 004 Indian Single Malt Whisky

70cl / 50% – The September 2021-bottling of Amrut Spectrum 004 was initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being aged in specially-made casks, formed of staves of virgin American oak, virgin French oak, oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Aromas of dried fruit, Christmas pudding, coconut cream, vanilla, toffee and sandalwood fill the nose, complemented by notes of blackberry jam, soft spice, vanilla sponge, sultanas, cream, aromatic oak and a hint of smoke throughout the palate.
