Ballechin 2009 / 10 Year Old / Bourbon Cask Highland Whisky

50cl / 57.7% / Distillery Bottling – A 2009 Ballechin single malt from Edradour distillery, matured in a single bourbon cask for a decade, before being bottled in November 2019 as part of its Straight From The Cask series. Aromas of honey-roast peanuts, smouldering embers, caramel and poached peaches fill the nose, complemented by notes of dry smoke, hazelnuts, toasted marshmallows, garden herbs and rich vanilla throughout the palate.
