Ben Nevis 1997 / 24 Year Old / Single Malts Of Scotland Highland Whisky

70cl / 57.7% / Elixir Distillers – A 1997 Ben Nevis single malt from independent bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a single ex-sherry butt for almost quarter of a century before being bottled in April 2021 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of iced cinnamon rolls, hot banana custard, strawberry cordial and iced black tea fill the nose, complemented by notes of pancakes with golden syrup, stewed strawberries, buttery scones, raspberry jam, sponge cake, candied ginger and red fruit throughout the palate.
