Benrinnes 2008 / 13 Year Old / Single Malts of Scotland Speyside Whisky

70cl / 54.8% / Elixir Distillers – A 2008 Benrinnes single malt from independent bottler Elixir Distillers that was matured in a single hogshead for 13 years, before being bottled in February 2022 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of granulated sugar, vanilla pods, shortbread biscuits, cupcakes and cookies fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla fudge, ice cream, toffee, hot butterscotch sauce, cocoa powder, freshly brewed coffee and dark chocolate throughout the palate.
