Deanston 11 Year Old / Merlot Wine Barrique / The Guerilla Cask Highland Whisky

70cl / 54.8% / Brave New Spirits – An 11-year-old Deanston single malt from bottler Brave New Spirits that was matured in a first-fill Merlot barrique until it was bottled in May 2021 as part of the Guerilla Casks range. Aromas of dried apricots, ripe banana, creamy vanilla and brandy snaps fill the nose, complemented by notes of tangy citrus, sweet smoke, soft spices and barbecue sauce throughout the palate.
