70cl / 46.1% / Elixir Distillers – A 1989 Glenrothes single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers’ Whisky Trail Vintage cars series, bottled in October 2019 after 30 years in a single hogshead. Aromas of freshly-waxed wood, tropical fruit, oatcakes and cinnamon buns fill the nose. The palate offers notes of toasted brioche, Madeira, pineapple and dried mango.
