Imperial 1994 / 24 Years Old / Single Malts of Scotland Speyside Whisky

70cl / 43.8% / Elixir Distillers – Distilled in 1994 at the now-closed Imperial distillery and matured for 24 years in a single ex-bourbon barrel, before being bottled by Elixir Distillers in July 2019, as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of pineapple, mango, lime and raspberries are joined by maraschino cherries on the nose. The palate offers notes of ripe plums, melon, strawberry ice cream and white chocolate, with hints of elderflower cordial, citrus peel and chalky minerals.
