70cl / 59.6% – The first of two very special bottlings – the Karuizawa Platinum Geishas, the final two in the Karuizawa Geisha range. This is a 1984-vintage whisky from legendary closed distillery Karuizawa, matured for its whole life in a sherry cask before bottling at 38 years old. The team at Elixir Distillers have truly saved the best until last with this and its companion showing all of the rich sherry fruit and complex spiciness that these whiskies are known for. A fitting end to the series.
