70cl / 48.5% / Thompson Bros – A large vatting of two refill-sherry butts, this an affable yet complex Speyside malt that shows orchard fruit and citrus, as well as meaty and malty notes. On the nose there are aromas of pearl barley, pomelo and dry white wine, while the palate proffers duck confit, clove and ginger.
