Teaninich 2008 / 11 Year Old / Single Malts of Scotland Highland Whisky

70cl / 60.4% / Elixir Distillers – A 2008 Teaninich single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a single refill hogshead for 11 years, before being bottled in August 2020 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of freshly-cut hay, juniper berries, elderflower, kiwi and autumn leaves fill the nose, complemented by notes of butterscotch, grapefruit and strawberry ice cream throughout the palate.
