This 15-year-old whisky from independent bottler North Star was distilled in 2007 and finished in an Oloroso sherry cask that brings sweetness and roundness with dried fruits to the nose. But don’t let the nose fool you – the smokiness of this dram lies in the palate, along with notes of nuts and toasted oak.
