Isle of Raasay The Dùn Cana / Sherry Quarter Cask Release Island Whisky

70cl / 52% / Distillery Bottling – This release combines Raasay’s peated and unpeated spirit, matured in American rye whiskey casks and re-racked into Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks. This delivered lashings of dried fruit character punctuated by peppery spice. This is a single malt with aromas of dried sultanas, milk chocolate shavings, salted caramel and ground nutmeg on the nose with an aromatic woody smoke and ground white pepper on the finish.
