Macallan 52 Year Old / Sherry Cask / 2018 Release Speyside Whisky

70cl / 48% – An impressively-aged single malt from Macallan that was released in 2018 after 52 years in a first-fill European oak sherry cask. Aromas of rich cherries and dark chocolate mingle with toasted oak, orange blossom and delicate peat smoke fill the nose. The palate offers notes of rich fruit and dark chocolate fondant, cinnamon and peat smoke, ginger and oak, followed by lingering hints of cherry, blackcurrant and floral peat in the finish.
