70cl / 48.4% / Douglas Laing – A 2008 single malt from independent bottler Douglas Laing, distilled on Orkney and matured for 15 years before being bottled as part of its Old Particular series. There are aromas of freshly cut ginger, caramel and pear on the nose, with salty smoke, black pepper and cinnamon on the palate.
